Remember that "Social Field" is a program that promotes and accompanies the solidarity actions of the people who work at Grupo Los Grobo, facilitating the concretion of their ideas, in benefit of the localities where they live and work. Through it, the company puts at the disposal of its collaborators an amount of money that this year was $ 150 thousand so that they themselves have, through a project contest, which institutions of their community they decide to help.
From the library of the school, they were working on an extension project as a window of insertion into the community through literary meetings and book loans. Maria Daniela Deagustini, Librarian of the School, said: "The objective was to add another cultural proposal from the School to which the Cultural Center had already been doing, such as sewing, crafts and folklore workshops; as a way of approach and another cultural option for the community ". In this sense, the fund of the prize they received for having won the "Campo Social" Program was used to purchase bibliographic material necessary to carry out the project.
The school works in a rural area, it is located on route 227, 7 km. of the city header. It has an enrollment of 47 students from the place and nearby fields so it represents the only cultural means not only for children, but also for their families. "We are convinced that offering children quality and variety of bibliography not only favors and enriches reading and knowledge, but also and above all strengthens and increases critical thinking and creation in them," added Daniela Deagustini.
Last September, the first literary meeting organized by the "Alas" library was held and took place at the Cultural Center of Tamangueyú. A large number of children attended with their families where they had the opportunity to work, enjoy, discuss and borrow, part of the newly arrived bibliography.
