Los Grobo integrates the Competitiveness Table in Precision Agriculture
The Secretary of Agriculture of the Nation has organized Competitiveness Tables within each of the different links of the agroindustrial sector, with the objective of analyzing issues related to tax, commercial, technological development and international negotiations that involve the sector.

By Ing. Gabriel Aguilera (Technical Responsible in Los Grobo Agropecuaria).

One of these links is represented by the Precision Agriculture sector, which is booming in Argentina. Producers are rapidly adopting new technology to make grain production more efficient. There is, today, a great offer of products and services of national and international origin.

In this context, the Secretary of Agriculture of the Nation seeks to involve the main players - developers, service providers, users, institutions, manufacturers - to create a "Chamber of AG Tech", which provides competitiveness and institutionality to this sector with the objective of promoting cooperation opportunities among Argentine firms, promoting possible synergies among them and encouraging them to grow not only at the national level, but also at an international level.

For this, a series of meetings were held: the first in Buenos Aires, followed by a second meeting in the framework of the 17th International Congress of Precision Agriculture and Livestock, held at INTA Manfredi in Córdoba, and a third meeting in Buenos Aires , which was also attended by representatives of the Australian embassy.

Grupo Los Grobo, recognized by its peers as a leader in applied technology in its production processes, participates in this space with the objective of contributing its wide experience and vision in the use and implementation, contributing to the analysis of the opportunities and thus to organize in a way the supply of the sector.

These workspaces allow mapping to identify all the competitiveness variables that make up this new market niche in order to become an exporting country of technological products and services for Agro. In addition, it allows for the generation of strategic collaborative links, such as the Australian Embassy, due to its position in relation to the Asian markets and the achievement of financing for new developments.

In this sense, and in order to generate a cluster based on the competitive advantages that Argentina has already developed on this subject, we aim to continue working to achieve the "AG TECH" country seal.
